We Know. You’re Thinking, No Way Guys.
Even we take a step back and laugh at ourselves.
Three years ago we sought out folks willing to invest in growing our brewery, winery and distillery. We set goals, surpassed them and then made good on your investments a few months earlier than expected. Last year we nearly doubled production from the previous year and as most of you know, we simply can’t sit still.
Change Is Inevitable
The beverage industry continues to evolve, which requires a certain amount of resolve to stand by your passion, but also to pivot when needed. We have had tremendous success with our canned cocktails and aged spirits – so much so that we literally cannot keep them on our shelves. Good problem to have, but we hate to have “we just don’t have the time” as the fall back reason for not producing more.
What We’re Looking To Do
The biggest obstacle we face is producing enough base spirit to craft our cocktails and aged spirits. We’re looking to rectify the situation. Quite literally. Our spirit is distilled multiple times to create a clean, smooth base. Each time we distill, we are spending 16 hours watching spirits collect into a container – a minimum of three times. As you may (or may not) know, Andy Day will be returning to the kitchen beginning in September, and will likely be there for the next year. This obviously directly impacts the capability of growing particular brands/products that require the amount of time described above.
We are looking to purchase clean, neutral spirits that will allow us to save hundreds of hours of time to produce the crafted cocktails that folks have been asking for – and further, create a brand that can be distributed across the state, without involving the state (it’s an ABV thing). Not only this, but we’re looking to compete with larger brands, and the only way to do that successfully is in BULK. We are planning on growing and expanding our “Worthy” line to include 6.5% canned cocktails for distribution, our current “full strength” cocktails for in-house consumption and purchase, a “Worthy” vodka offering (suck it, Titos) and more.
What We Are Offering
Over the past 13 years we have organized a series of crowd-funding rewards from Cask & Vine’s initial opening, then kitchen remodel, Doire Distilling, Lounge, Daydreaming and more.
We are (once again) looking for a 3-year investment, and would like to provide a return on that investment. For every $1,000 invested, we will provide 1% return, compounded daily, over three years, up to 5%.
For Example: Investing $5,000 we will provide a 5% daily compounded interest on that $5,000, which we will return to you three years from the designated investment date. This would mean in three years, we’d be writing a check for $5,809.11.
Example 2: A $2500.00 investment at 2.5%, over three years, compounded daily would be $2,694.70.
Why Are You Doing This?
If you’ve read this far, you probably already know the answer. We have built everything we have done around involving the community to invest time, energy and money into people. That, and we’d rather see people we know making money over a bank.
Does This Work?
Yes. We have taken part as an investor and have been invested in, being provided with a hefty return and providing a hefty return.
Is There A Risk?
Of course. No one knows what the future holds. We however, like to think that we have delivered on what we have set out to do throughout the years, and have continued to grow within the community.
